Chris is also an Associate Practitioner and director for RSC Education, where he has worked for several years on many projects involving young people as writers or performers. Over the last two years, he has worked closely on the development of the RSC’s flagship project, the Learning and Performance Network. This has involved setting up and co-leading a qualification for drama teachers in the practical teaching of Shakespeare, and supporting the direction of many Shakespeare festivals throughout the country, where the performers range from ages 5-18. He has then re-directed several of these pieces in preparation for a performance at the Courtyard Theatre, Stratford, as part of the Regional Schools Celebration.
